The Edit | Ralph Lauren Classics for the 2025 Cozy Season
As the air turns crisp and the last of the golden leaves fall, I find myself drawn (as always) to the timeless sophistication of Ralph Lauren. This November, the collection feels especially inviting—rich in heritage prints, luxurious textures, and those quintessential hues that define the season: deep forest greens, warm browns, and hints of holiday red.
Winter Skin Essentials: My Routine for Beating the Chill
As much as I love the cozy charm of winter—crackling fires, chunky knits, and endless mugs of tea (and I do drink copious amounts)—the cold air and indoor heat can wreak havoc on skin. Every year, as soon as the temperatures dip, I reshuffle my skincare routine to focus on hydration, barrier repair, and soothing anything that feels dry, tight, or irritated. Below are the tried-and-true products that get me through the season with soft, calm, and nourished skin from head to toe.

The Edit | Equestrian Elegance: My Favorite Brooks Brothers Picks for Fall 2025
This season, Brooks Brothers’ Fall 2025 collection effortlessly bridges classic refinement with subtle equestrian flair—exactly the kind of style that feels at home in Virginia’s hunt country. I’m drawn to their tailored wool blazers and structured riding coats, pieces that evoke timeless sophistication yet remain undeniably practical for crisp mornings at the barn or leisurely weekends in town. Paired with their perfectly cut trousers or a soft cashmere turtleneck, each look feels polished without losing that sense of ease that defines true country elegance.
Life Lately
My goodness, it’s been a long time… it’s hard to believe we’re slowly approaching August already. I’ve ended up taking a very long break off of social media and this blog, and it was very much unintended. However, as life goes sometimes, I’ve been dealt bushels (and bushels and bushels) of lemons and have struggled to make lemonade. I think I’m writing this post and update as much for myself as to just try to get myself back into the mindset of blogging. This isn’t meant to be a sob story or a self-pity party, and I’m immensely grateful to be able to say that things are finally looking up. But, I’ve been in the midst of a personal winter since January.
OTTB Diaries: Month One
One of my favorite aspects of having a personal blog is the ability to go back to previous posts and read and see photos of previous memories. Having had E.T. for just over a month, I figured now is the perfect time to start an “OTTB [Off-the-track Thoroughbred] Diaries” so I can post about the previous month and be able to reflect on our highs, lows, progress, and all of the fun things in between!
